Acrylic has up to 24 times the resistance of normal glass, but not resistant to scratches. However, it can be easily polished to regain visual clarity and recover from minor damages with no difficulty.

Stainless steel is the most resistant solution; easily cleanable, does not rust, corrode or stain. Since the chromium-treated mirrors can be easily cleaned, they are also suitable for places with strict hygiene conditions such as hospitals, kitchens and other places involving food processing.
