A safe helps you prevent unauthorized access to your valuables. SafeGear offers high-quality safes in security levels according to European Norm EN-1143-1. Ideal for storing documents, jewelry and cash at home or in a business.
|Resistance to burglary is tested according to European standard EN-1143-1. Security levels increase from S1, S2, Grade 0, Grade I, Grade II, Grade III, Grade IV and upwards. The blue icons indicates the burglary certification.|
|Resistance to fire is tested according to European Standards. Safes can have certified fire protection for 30 min, 60 min, 90 min. or 120 min. The red icons indicate fire certification.|
Factors like the safe´s material, lock, wall thickness, and bolts determine the burglary resistance. Insurance companies may require a minimum grade depending the amount of valuables. Not all safety boxes are burglary tested.
Fire protection is particularly useful for important documents like passports, bonds, tax returns or even data on hard drives. However, a distinction is made for storing data since electronics are more sensitive to heat and fire than paper, and therefore require a different certification.
For maximum safety, some owners hide or conceal their safes in closets, wardrobes or even kitchen cabinets, attics or bathrooms. We also have wall and floor safes that can be hidden behind a painting or a carpet.
At SafeGear, we take pride in finding the product that matches your needs by offering different accessories, sizes, colors, and a wide range of burglary and fire protection levels. Additionally, safes can be supplied with various high-security locks including key locks, electronic code and fingerprint locks. Some code locks offer additional features like alarm connection, multiple user codes, or audit functions.
