Traffic Convex Mirror - Round - Red White Frame

This high quality traffic mirror is made with a red and white frame, designed to catch the drivers attention. The convex traffic mirrors provide a better view of highly trafficked roads as well as parking lots, private driveways or intersections to avoid accidents and potentially save lives. The back of this safety mirror has corresponding holes for attaching the included adjustable bracket that allows mounting to a pole/pipe (size Ø 52-76 mm).

The stainless steel traffic mirror is manufactured in, AISI304 grade, with a red-white reflective edge made of ABS plastic.

This traffic mirror is available in round or rectangular shape is specifically designed to increase safety and provide a better view of high traffic areas. The Traffic Mirrors come complete with a shatterproof convex mirror face manufactured in acrylic. They come in a red and white border to catch the road user's attention. The external housing is made from unbreakable ABS that is UV-treated to protect the mirror from discoloring caused by bright sunlight. The product has a full five-year functionality warranty.

To install the outdoor convex traffic mirror:
‒ Dig a hole of at least 0.5m in depth;
‒ Insert the pipe stand, ensuring that a minimum of 2.3m (roughly ¾) of the pipe is above the ground level;
‒ Fill the hole with cement and let dry 24 hours;
‒ Attach the convex mirror using the attachment bracket, adjusting it to suit your viewing requirements.

The difference lies in the material that the reflective surface is made of. These different materials all have different properties related to durability, strength, and reflectiveness that in turn make them more suitable for one specific application over the other.

  • Glass is the most reflective material available but also the most fragile.
  • Polished stainless steel is second in reflectiveness but highest in durability and strength. It is usually more expensive though.
  • Acrylic and polycarbonate both have comparable reflectiveness and durability levels yet polycarbonate is more resistant to impact and therefore a bit more expensive too.
