The mirror´s viewing distance refers to the maximum distance from the viewer to the mirror at which the safety mirror can be functionally used in order to see the reflection clearly.
This information is provided for every mirror we sell and increases proportionally to the size of the mirror. If you need a mirror that can be seen from a longer distance, then you need a larger mirror which will, in turn, have a larger viewing distance.
Once the type of mirror and shape has been selected, it now comes down to picking which size is most suitable.
By this, we refer to the distance between the observer and the mirror. In the following tables, we provide the viewing distance figures that correspond to the dimensions of each of the mirror we sell:
|

|
Length x Width (mm) |
Maximum Viewing Distance (m) |
| 450 x 600 | 12 |
| 600 x 800 | 20 |
| 800 x 1000 | 30 |
The table below shows how far you can see in a street with a Traffic Mirror.

∅ 800 mm |
∅ 1000 mm | ∅ 1000 mm |
∅ = Diameter of the Round Mirror
◘ = Size of the Rectangular Mirror
Factors that might limit and reduce the viewing distances of mirrors:
Poor lighting
Small objects being observed
Object is moving at a fast speed
Indirect viewing angle
