Security mirrors in prisons can be used in rooms, hallways and cells for different purposes such as vigilance and personal safety of inmates and guards.
For jail cells, we recommend using unbreakable material such as stainless steel as the inmates could break the mirror and potentially hurt themselves or others. It is important to mount the mirror on a flat and solid background because like this the mirror is supported and cannot be deformed or destroyed easily. If you want to screw the mirror to the wall, you should make sure that you do not press the mirror to the wall too much. Otherwise the stainless steel can get deformed due to the high pressure and lose reflection quality.
To improve surveillance and security systems inside the prison halls or hallways, we recommend using dome mirrors (90° dome mirrors, 180° dome mirrors or 360° dome mirrors). Security dome mirrors provide an improved overview by eliminating blind spots in halls, and enable you to see around the corner in long hallways.
Spy mirrors are commonly found in interrogation rooms at police and military organizations. These allow the interrogators to view the suspect and what he or she is doing without the suspect knowing that they are being watched. This feature is common in banks and airports as well.
Available in Stainless Steel and Acrylic
